For the last 4 years, while I've been writing a book about my life, Tony's been working on a documentary about his.
This has made for a very low drama, stress-free environment, as I'm sure you can imagine.
Well, the day has come to let the world in. Tony's film, Fortunate Son, is premiering at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal on October 20th.
You can watch the trailer here.
You can look at the poster here:
Bringing it full circle, not only am I in it, but my brother did the original score. Now that's what you call a family drama.
YAY!!! So happy this is finally happening! So exciting. LOVED the poster - any chance one could get hold of a cop?? Please
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I can't wait to see this!
ReplyDeleteThat looks terrific. Actually reminds me of my parents.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, guys. Shawn, I hope to meet you there. Erik, for sure we will get you a copy...
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you both - love the trailer and poster - both very evocative. Can't imagine the mix of excitement yet trepidation that must be pervading your house at the moment! Very much looking forward to seeing the whole movie. And reading the book... Beth x
ReplyDeleteSaw the film in Ottawa tonight and found it fascinating. Congratulations to you and Tony and all involved.
